What is it?
Nuclear engineering is engineering involving the manipulation of particles at the microscopic scale. This field of engineering usually includes constructions of facilities such as the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) one of the most known Cyclotrons, and also on energy facilities like Nuclear Reactors.
A Nuclear Engineers Typical Day
A nuclear engineer is a unique job. Most nuclear engineers work in an office, but a large portion work in other environments. It depends mostly upon where the engineer is working.
Salary and Qualification
In order to be a Nuclear Engineer you have to have a Bachelors Degree at least. The median pay of a nuclear engineer is about 104,270 US dollars.
