Principal Haili's Updates
Linapuni Elementary School Week of September 14
Aloha Linapuni Elementary ʻOhana,
As you may have seen in the news, the Kalihi community has experienced a high number of COVID-19 cases. Out of an abundance of caution, I wanted to remind our staff and families to remain vigilant and continue to report cases and possible exposure situations to administration. This will help in our effort to keep our campus safe and mitigate any potential spread among our students and staff.
Before coming onto campus, staff, students and parents should do a wellness check:
If an individual is exhibiting any symptoms or if they have been directed to quarantine by the Department of Health (DOH), they should not come onto campus. Also, if someone in your household has been tested for COVID-19 or if they are exhibiting symptoms, please call before coming to campus so we can assess the situation and determine if a visit is necessary and/or appropriate.
I would like to commend our staff for following the recommended safety precautions including wearing masks, practicing social distancing, and being mindful of their movement on campus to minimize interactions. We are doing this to ensure the safety of our campus, I know that you will do the same for our school community.
