WHY DO WE USE 3D DESIGN
By William Levermore
We use 3D design to save money. We need to use it because it allows us to check wether things work before we go and waste money on them by building them and then realising that something is wrong. Rollercoasters are particularly good examples of this as they are exremely expensive and are very difficult to get right first time.
Also 3D design helps the safety of things, for instance, a car is very difficult to build well without a computor and even harder to make safe. If sports cars were designed badly and didn't have good downforce then it would become airborne and put the passengers in danger.
