Dear Parent(s), Guardian(s), & Students,
It has been a fantastic (and fast) school year! I am so thankful for all of your support and I am incredibly proud of our accomplishments this year. Join me at any of the awards assemblies to help celebrate record breaking high academic scores, great school culture, kindness and compassion for the learning and growth that takes place at BRMES! We sure have a lot to celebrate!
Report cards and progress notes will be mailed home mid-June for all students. SBAC test results will be sent home with students in grades 3-5. Please check the lost & found collection spread out on tables before dismissal on the last day of school. So many treasures that we will donate if they are not claimed.
Over the summer, please check our website and calendar (also on the website) for back to school updates. Please encourage your child to continue reading throughout the summer and maybe try out some of the 'bucket list' activities found in the PTA section below.
Have a great summer, be safe, and I'll be ready and excited to see you in August!
Mrs. Berg, Principal

Back to School Basics
Friday, August 23: Class Lists will be posted on the school front windows @ 4:00 (just prior to Back to School Night) and remain there until the 1st Day of School.
Friday, August 23: Back to School Night from 4:00-6:00. New this coming year and to help with overcrowding, we will open the upstairs for grades 3-5 from 4:00-5:00 PM and then the downstairs for grades K-2 from 5:00-6:00 PM. We invite all of our families and kids to socialize or shop the food vendors outside on the playground before or after. We will have vendors with food for sale, free popsicles for all, and live music to enjoy! Plan to bring your school supplies, meet your child's teacher, and enjoy an evening with the BRMES crew!
Tuesday, August 27: 1st Day of School (1st bell rings at 8:05; school starts at 8:10)
Color Run & Field Day ~ June 5

Grades K-2 will participate from 12:30-2:30 PM.
We need many volunteers to throw color and help with some other fun roles. (It's a great event for younger siblings/toddlers as well). Sign up here if you can help.
Order School Supplies by June 10th!
