No Place for Hate
ADL’s (Anti-Defamation League) No Place for Hate initiative is a school climate improvement program that provides schools with an organizing framework for combating bias, bullying, and hatred. No Place for Hate schools receive their designation by first signing the Resolution of Respect, and then completing at least three school-wide anti-bias or bullying prevention activities.
Through our STAN Counselor, Dr. Vanessa Cantu, our campus will complete this initiative by implementing three school-wide activities: examining and interrupting hate, examining the stigma and stereotypes of homelessness, and learning about Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai and her advocacy for girls' education in Pakistan.
As we begin to implement these activities, we will continue to share more information about our initiative to continue to educate our students about combating bullying and hatred.
