WINTER WORKSHOP SIGN UPS
PreK and K students participate in programming with their teachers and do not need to sign-up for these workshops.
WES PLAYGROUND SNOW PLAY RULES
The snowy season is upon us! It is really important that students have a hat, gloves, a winter coat, snow pants and boots to go outside every day. We are always outside unless it is a steady rain or cold temperatures lower than 10 degrees Fahrenheit. Please help your child be prepared to enjoy outside recess each day. We have limited supplies to lend out, and the supplies we do lend out are not always returned. Each student grades preK-6 must have a coat, boots, and snow pants to go on the snow. It is also really helpful to label your child's gear so we can help return any items that become misplaced. Please also help us remind children that throwing snow can be a fun winter activity, but it is not allowed at school.
Want to Help WES Improve? Join a Parent/Guardian Focus Group on 12/2
There will be a parent interview at WES on 12/2/19 at 2pm with a group from the field review team. We are looking for 4-8 parents who would be willing to be part of the interviews to share what is working and what is not working about our school and district. So far, we have just one volunteer! Please let Ms. Mills know as soon as possible if you can participate. We always welcome your feedback!
