The Harmon Herald

3rd Edition 9.11.15

What a Week...

I don't know about you, but I keep thinking that as we move further into the school year - things will slow down! I believe everyone will agree that things are not slowing down; everything is getting busier! No matter the pace of the day or the week - please remain focused on the success of all students and taking care of one another as family!

I hope you enjoyed Battle of the Axe week! Thank you to all who participated and to Ms. Jayme, Ms. Brittain, and the StuCo students for all their hard work this week! We will have another spirit week in the middle of October - Homecoming Week and it will be here before we know it!

Our Continued Focus

Please continue to work within your departments in creating activities, lessons, and opportunities for our students to be leading the work - we need to continue our focus on students using the appropriate academic language - they need to be listening, speaking, reading, and writing with this focus! Everyone is working hard to create a strong academic learning environment and I, along with the Leadership Team, will support you any way we can!
