The InchCape Rock
When the sea is calm
"And row me to the Inchcape Rock, / And I’ll plague the Abbot of Aberbrothok.”
This quote means that Sir Ralph wants to cause harm to the Abbott. The image it brings to mind is Sir Ralph acting as a terrible disease that is going to harm the Abbott because a plauge is also an infectious disease.
"And now grown rich with plunder’d store, / He steers his course for Scotland’s shore."
