Important Dates
December 16th - All wrapped gifts need to be turned into Mrs. Kennedy at the elementary school
December 19th and 20th - Families who requested assistance should pick up gifts in person.
Kestrel Heights School wants to make sure every KHS family has a wonderful holiday season. Winter Wishes will match Kestrel families in need with donor families willing to buy gifts or clothing this holiday season.
Who am I helping?
A Kestrel Heights student whose family requests assistance.
Who can request assistance?
Any Kestrel Heights family in need of assistance. The only requirement is for a parent/guardian to complete the form to request assistance. This program is meant to help our families in need, so please only request assistance if your need is substantial.
How do you request assistance?
Fill out the Winter Wishes Gift Request Form: http://bit.ly/winterwishesrequest19
K-8 Contact: Stacy Kennedy 919-484-1300 x302 or Morgan Callahan at 919-484-1300 x205 kennedy@kestrelheights.org or callahan@kestrelheights.org
Are requests for assistance kept confidential?
Yes, all requests for assistance will be kept confidential. Only Mrs. Kennedy and Mrs. Callahan will know who requests assistance. Each gift request will be numbered to keep track of who made the request.
How do I fill a gift request?
A SignUpGenius will be posted on November 29th listing all gift requests. You can choose which gifts you would like to fill via the SignUpGenius. Include gift number when returning wrapped gifts to the school. All stocking stuffer requests do not need to be wrapped but do need to be identified by the gift number. Information about the program can also be found in our Kestrel Newsletters.
Is there a price limit per request?
Yes. Please only request gifts that are $50 or less.
Will all gift requests be filled?
Not necessarily. This will depend on the response to the program. You will know which requests have been filled by December 17th, if not before. Last year, most requests were filled.
