Mind: Advanced Academics
Advanced Writing
Mrs. Anderson has added a whole new depth to this writing program. Her creativity and dedication is what has inspired these writers to not only join the advanced writing program, but to thrive within it as well. Last month we highlighted the program's digital magazine; below is a link for those of you who missed it. Additionally, we will get to hear from a few of the students who have great things to say about this program. Check out the video below!
STS Advanced Writing
Advanced Math
The advanced math program, also led by Mrs. Anderson, has some interesting tricks up its sleeve for the upcoming Pi Night. The 5th grade students involved are looking to create something special for that beloved math night.

Soul: Spiritual Retreats
This Month's Virtue: MERCY
With the year of Mercy just in our rear-view mirrors, we feel that there is no better time than to now to have this virtue act as a reminder to our students. Their virtuous behavior will be recognized by their teachers and placed in our Virtue Vineyard.
"I think we too are the people who, on the one hand, want to listen to Jesus, but on the other hand, at times, like to find a stick to beat others with, to condemn others. And Jesus has this message for us: mercy. I think — and I say it with humility — that this is the Lord's most powerful message: mercy".

8th Grade Girls Retreat
This past weekend, our 8th grade girls participated in a retreat to help them prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.
All-too-often, we overlook just how lucky we truly are to be able to incorporate Christ into our lives on a daily basis in a school setting. The dedicated teachers here at St. Timothy School are not just giving students a meaningful education, but they are educating the whole child and reinforcing the moral guidance that you all are providing at home.

Swingin' on a Star
Our mission over the past few years has been to provide an individualized approach to learning. Our advanced academics program, with its commitment to excellence and creativity, is a pivotal piece that has helped our school enrich and challenge our students.
Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, and several others have used these words of wisdom, and they are important for all of us to recognize: "you can be better than you are, you could be swingin' on a star".
