Kingdom Kids

A Message from Bev

Bound for the West Coast!

I am excited to let you know that I will be in California this week to attend a leadership conference for a ministry that I lead called Becoming a Modern Day Princess. I am honored to have the chance to share with and learn from other leaders from across the country and other parts of the world. Our daughter, Sophia, will be travelling with me and we plan to fit in some college visits for her and spend some time with family while there as well.

Opportunity Knocks

I also want to let you know that I have accepted a long-term substitute position teaching gifted students. This job came along unexpectedly and begins as soon as I return from California. It has been a bit of a whirlwind, but this is an opportunity I did not feel I could pass up.

What Does This Mean?

God is not surprised by anything! Even though it feels unfortunate that it is all happening so fast, I can recognize His hand in it in every way. If you have some free time one day, I could tell you more!

Thanks to all of you, Neil, Patti, and I never had to manage Kingdom Kids on our own. While I will be available to help in any way that I can through the transition, I recognize that I am just one person on a talented, capable team. I am grateful for my small part in developing the ministry over the past two years.

Stay Connected

ECC is our church home, so I'm not really going anywhere. Please stay in touch! I would appreciate if you could join me in praying for:

  • Safe travels to and from California
  • A fruitful time at the leadership conference
  • Getting quickly acclimated in my new job
  • Grace for Kingdom Kids ministry during this transition
