Ms. Shirazi Class Newsletter

Week of September 22nd

Dear Parents,

Thank you to all that were able to join us for the play date on Sunday! It was a great success! Everyone brought yummy things to share and we even got Coach F to join us and put on a little soccer game for the kids! If anyone took pics at the event, would you kindly send them to me? We'd like to include them in the Wizard Wire and also thank coach F!

If you weren't able to make it, don't worry! We plan to have at least one more play date in the next few months, at the request of many parents/children! :)

See below for more info on that as well as other important info/reminders this week.

Thank you,
Tammie Volk (Ethan's mom)

In the Classroom

  • $50 (+/-) Donation to Ms. Shirazi's Class for Supplies
We know life can be hectic, so if you haven't had a chance to send in your donation, it's not too late! Please email to make arrangements. OR if you feel more comfortable, please simply go on to Ms. Shirazi's wishlist on Amazon and help purchase a couple items she has requested for the kids and the classroom.

  • Volunteering in the Classroom
Thank you to those who have already volunteered to help clean the classroom for our kids!! For those of you who have asked recently, it would be a good idea to go ahead and get a TB test even if you plan to help before/after school hours. This way, if there are any upcoming field trips, etc that you'd like to help with, you'll be all set... and you won't have to do the test again until 3rd grade! :) Here's the form:

Aren't able to help clean? Don't fret! Start here for some other ways you can be involved!
