Winter Wishes Candy Cane Grams!

Our Leadership Club will be selling candy cane grams for 25 cents Monday through Thursday this week. Sales will take place at the main drop-off/dismissal gate. Grams will be delivered on Friday (12/17).

Gr 7/8 Student Recognition Assembly

We will be holding our grade 7/8 assembly on Monday, 12/13 in our Multi-Purpose Room (MPR). Parents with students who are being recognized will receive a note from their child’s teacher. Please plan to come at least 5 minutes early in order to sign in prior to the assembly. Please note that masks must be worn indoors.

Emergency Preparedness

At GLC, ensuring a safe school environment is of utmost importance. Each year, our school updates its Comprehensive School Safety Plan (CSSP), which the School Site Council (SSC) annually reviews and approves. As part of our safety plan, we schedule regular emergency drills.

We also want to ensure parents know their part in how to stay informed and what to do in the case of an emergency.

In case of a disaster on our school campus, please do not use the telephone to call us. Phone lines will be needed for emergency communications. Listen to your local radio station for incident information and next steps, such as details regarding pick-up. In the case of a disaster that requires students to be evacuated off-site, our school's gathering place for parents and students is the Worship Center/Gym at Neighborhood Church (5505 W. Riggin Ave., Visalia).

Open Enrollment for 2022-23

Open enrollment began this week and will continue through February 11. For students not currently attending grades TK-7, this is the best chance to secure a seat for the 2022-23 school year. Current TK-7 students do not need to apply.

If you have friends or family who may be interested in attending GLC, please share this information with them. Applications are available on our website and in our front office.
