Dear Parents/ Carers
Week 10 already - Fun, Food and Carols, Awards Assembly, Volunteers Morning Tea, Winning House lunch, Y6 2020 leadership announcements, Young Writer’s Awards… so many fabulous things happening!
Move up day was a huge success and the children certainly were settled and smiling at the end of the morning block. Reports are due to come home next week, with all of the end of term goings on frantically happening too.
The children will move classrooms tomorrow to the space where their teacher will be placed in 2020. They will spend the last week of term in that classroom - they will let you know where that is when they come home tomorrow.
Fun, Food and Carols was just a super evening of fun, food and carols! I would like to thank the PFA for organising the event - it’s such a lovely way to end the school year. It was wonderful to see so many families joining us. Mike Larkin was an added bonus for the event.
If anyone is available to help with the moving tomorrow please pop into the office just after 9am…

Choir Connections
Our last performance of the year was certainly full of fun and action!
An impromptu performance in front of the Channel 10 cameras required a very quick turnaround to add some Christmas bling to our uniform. A huge thank you to the parents that jumped right in to help us with headbands, skirts and Santa hats! The choir students were absolutely amazing and we have received lots of texts from friends and family to say they saw Parkhill students singing on the TV!
It was such a beautiful night to spend with the Parkhill Community singing some of our favourite Christmas carols.
This Friday will be a session full of fun activities singing, dancing and learning about rhythm.
Friday 20th December is our Choir Class Breakfast Party and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone. A huge thank you to the parents who have offered to bring some food and/or help set up. We do still need a few more helpers for a few additional items for the party so if you are able please come and have a chat or email me kirsten@careermastery.net.au
