A Message from the Principal
I hope this message finds everyone healthy and well during this very difficult and challenging time. We are about to embark on a new journey this school year. Starting the fall virtually will be new for all teachers, students, counselors, administrators, and parents. I promise to each of you that our teachers and staff will provide the best instruction possible using the virtual platform of Schoology.
As we continue to move forward, CHS alum, Lindsey Gorham just completed another Mural for CHS. The above picture is of the Science Mural of Katherine Johnson, a NASA research scientist in the CHS science hallway. Our goal is to work with students to design and task Lindsey with completing Cavalier Murals in all content hallways.
Our motto is that "Cavaliers are learning today and leading tomorrow". In order to prepare students to be 3E ready we will be focused on the following three characteristics; Respect, Responsibility, and Honesty. These characteristics were chosen based on the feedback from parents, students and staff surveys. Students will focus on these characteristics daily as they receive instruction (virtually and eventually in person) as well as through daily interactions with peers, staff and community. We appreciate your support in selecting the characteristics as well as promoting the future leaders of Caroline County.
We will continue to use our newsletter, The Cavalier Contact, to keep you up to date on all things related to Caroline High School. This week's issue will provide information about new staff, the virtual schedule for students, yearbooks, and more. Thank you for your time and enjoy this week's issue.
Sincerely,
Mr. Joshua Just
Principal - Caroline High School
A message from your senior class president
Hey Class of 2021!
Our senior year has been flipped upside down and inside out. This year will be anything but normal. It definitely isn’t what we thought our senior year would look like but I know that we will figure it out and make it the best we possibly can. The class of 2021 is going to do amazing things and this is just a hurdle we have to jump over to get there. And of course we will come up with fun activities we can do as a class to make the best out of the situation! I want to encourage each of you to do your best to stay positive about what’s going on and keep your head up. It will all come together. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for each of us. We got this !!!
Thank you so much,
Jordyn Rollins-Williams
