Book Fair is the week of April 18-22. More details below.

April 12-- Poetry Exhibition Practice

April 18 -- Teacher Book Fair Preview

April 20 -- Book Fair Grandparent's Day

April 21 -- Book Fair Family Night

April 21-- Battle of the Books Bake Sale at PTA meeting

April 26 -- Poetry Exhibition Practice

April 28 -- Poetry Exhibition

Poetry Exhibition

We will move the poetry exhibition to the last week of April and have two more practices. (See dates above.)

A separate email will be sent out to teachers regarding how many students from each class will participate.

Book Fair

The spring book fair will be the week of April 18-22.

More information to send home will be forthcoming. Please include the date in classroom newsletters.

Teacher preview will be Monday, April 18 after school.

Grandparent's Day will be Wednesday, April 20.

Family night will be Thursday, April 21, 4:00-6:00.

The book fair schedule will be shared in a separate email later this week.

Thanks to everyone who turned in their reading minutes for March! So far this school year we have read 1,199,663 MINUTES!!

Ms. Thompson-White's class was once again the class of the month. Great job to her students! They read 28,734 minutes and averaged over 1300 minutes of reading each.

Tech Tip: Read Write Think Poetry Resources

It's National Poetry Month and there are lots of way to get your students involved with reading and writing poetry. Check out Read Write Think's lessons and activities for poetry.

One resource that students enjoy is Word Mover. It is available online and as an app.
