Undocu Advocacy 2.0
National Institutions Coming Out Day
Thurs. April 7, 2016 | UWX_XXX | 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Join Student Engagement & Activities at the University of Washington Bothell to commit to and celebrate United We Dream, Dream Educational Empowerment Program's National Institutions Coming Out Day (NICOD)! To commit and celebrate, we will be hosting a two hour session for faculty, staff, and students who have previously attended one of the Social Justice Organizer's Undocu Advocacy Trainings.
In this workshop, we will have the opportunity to participate in dialogue and activities to reflect in some of the ways that the Undocu Advocacy Training has been able to assist the attendees on supporting undocumented students on campus. In addition, we wil have the opportunity to collaboratively think of some actions that we want to take together in order to continue to support undocumented students on campus, in both individual and systematic ways.
Workshop will be facilitated by University of Washington Bothell student and staff.
With questions, please contact Alejandra PĂ©rez at aleperez@uw.edu.
