Skills USA: Democratic Process

Mr. Foley said that the SkillsUSA Voting Delegacy is much like our countries electoral college. States are awarded a maximum number of delegates based on total membership. Massachusetts being the largest state has 34 delegates of which Blue Hills had three (3) present for this conference. They elect the National Officers, ratify the bylaws following a process very similar to our democratic process, except it is not aided by democrats, republicans or independents, just a bunch of students with emerging Career and Technical/College Ready Skills.
