What was the change?
The Scientific Revolution changed the way people thought about the physical world around them. The same spirit of that fueled the Renaissance.
Who were the people associated with this change?
Many scientist were involved with the change such as Galileo he made new theories Copernicus the astronomer and Issac newton he described gravity as the force that kept the planets revolving around the sun.
Who were the people?
Copernicus
He studied the stars and earth and plants, he did not published his work fast because the scholars thought his work concentrate.
Kepler
He was a brilliant mathematician, and was one of the most of the smartest scientist. The picture on your left, was a telescope used by Kepler and one of the first.
Galileo
Was an Italian scientist, and made new theories about the astronomy. but the church didn't support him because they against church teachings.He discovered that the sun and other plant had spots! for example the picture in the left!
How did the change impact society at the time?
People made new discoveries in medicine physics and brand new theories that have never been thought about before. Also it brought a sense of individualism and a belief in equal rights.
How is that change evidenced in today's modern society?
We have many things like the scientific method and very crucial information about our solar system that we would've of never had is the scientific revolution never happened. We also have a need to be individuals and create things and express our ideas in this time period.Lastly we also have a belief in basic equal rights for all people.
