The cow is checked for mastitis if it is positive then the milk is put into a separate tank and disposed of
4 storing and transportation
the milk is tested for antibiotics and is stored in tanks on the farm.
5 Transporting and testing
The milk is then transported to the dairy processing facility and tested again
6 pasteurization
The milk is heated for 15 seconds to destroy any bacteria and keep the consistent flavor.
7 Distribution
The milk is shipped to stores and distributors.
