Instructional Lead Teacher Training Info
Greetings!
We are looking forward to next week’s training for ILTs. Here are a few logistics for you:
- Training will be held at Edison Training Center, 2940 Singleton Blvd, Dallas, TX 75212
- Sessions will be June 4-6 from 8:30 – 4:30
- We will begin at 8:30am in room E203 for our kick-off.
- You will need to technology: laptops AND headphones.
- Lunch (sandwiches) will be provided, so if you have other nutritional needs of want something else, please bring it with you to training since there aren’t many food options near Edison and time allotted for lunch won’t be enough to leave and return on time.
- Here is the schedule for the training:
Parking Info
- Here is a map of the parking spaces that are available, but there will be hundreds of people attending training at Edison and so if at all possible, please try to carpool.
- Overflow Parking: Buses will shuttle participants from Pinkston to Edison from 7:30-9:00 and 3:30-5:00. Attached is more information about parking.
Building Info
- Here is the map of the rooms that we will be using for training.
- Enter the building using the door in the back in the southeast lot.
Again, we will begin at 8:30am in room E203 for our kick-off. See you on Tuesday!
Principal Training: June 11-13
In preparation for the Principal training next week, here is some general logistical information for you:

Here are a few logistics for you:
- Training will be held in room 613 at 9400 NCX
- Sessions will be June 11-13th from 8:30 – 4:30
June 13th: Work-time with EDs to prepare for the AIM Kick-off sessions that will happen in the afternoon with Principals and their leadership teams. APs and other leadership team members that you want to be part of the kick-off to the Leadership team should plan to be present on June 13th in the afternoon.
You will need to technology: laptops AND headphones.

Please bring the following items with you to training:
Based on the material that will be covered in the Principal training, you will need digital copies of all of these documents in draft version for training:
- Principal Weekly Calendar Template
- Completed Staff List
- Approved Master Schedule
- Org Chart
- Floor plans
- Roles and Responsibilities
- Vision and Mission and values
- CIP
- Annual Calendar (with PLC, PD sessions, PTSA, SBDM, Meeting Cycles, etc.)
- Classroom environments non-negotiable checklist
