Basic Information

Amendments are somewhat rules/laws and somewhat a privilege. There are 27 Amendments in the Constitution right now. These Amendments have been around since 1791. Amendments are a form of saying that us humans, are aloud to do these things. These rules all apply to everyone no matter what gender or race you are and when you abuse the Amendments and mess with another humans rights you get put in jail.

Bill Of Rights

After the U.S signed its first Constitution on September 17, 1787 , the whole U.S was going mad because there was no Amendments to keep them from causing so much stress and chaos. All humans were getting prosecuted for reasons they didn't even know. On December 5, 1791 the first 10 Amendments were mad and these were called the "Bill of Rights" and they gave humans freedom and now the humans had abilities to be free and do what they wanted without getting prosecuted. These Amendments were taken into effect and then after a couple years in 1798 it started coming more Amendments.

Amendments 1-27

Our government is alright now in the 2014 year. In the article below it states that "The real problem with American government is that it is not as democratic as it should be. Affluent special interests have too much power in our political system and the public has too little." So due to this its alright but if their is any problem that the government having so much power that its taking away from us and destroying our Amendments.
