HES List Server Message
April 7, 2017
Hello Holland Elementary Parents,
It's been another great week at school with a lot of energy for our PSSA tests and the excitement about the upcoming break. As I stated in an message earlier this week, Friday will be an eventful day at school with our Spirit Day (children are encouraged to wear a Holland t-shirt or blue shirt for our Cooperation Assembly) and the Second Grade Dinosaur Museum.
In addition, tomorrow will be the day in which parents can view third marking period report cards on the Home Access Center (4:00). It's also the deadline for parents to submit input for class placements (HES Class Placement Parent Letter) and for ticket orders for the PTO Father/Son event at the Trenton Thunder (HES Night at Trenton Thunder).
Please also note that during the Spring Break, the school office will be closed on Monday, April 10th, Thursday, April 13th, and Friday, April 14th. Thank you.

Welcome to the 2017 CR North/South HS baseball season. In conjunction with CR South HS Baseball the 1st Annual BACKYARD BATTLE will be held on April 22nd at 7:00 PM as CR North will host CR South at Arm and Hammer Park (home of the Trenton Thunder). This is a special event as we will recognize our Senior baseball players during a pre-game ceremony.
In an effort to give back to our community, both programs have committed to donate the net proceeds from the game to the Travis Manion Foundation (www.travismanion.org). If you are not familiar with this organization, The Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) empowers veterans and families of fallen heroes to develop character in future generations. In 2007, 1st Lt Travis Manion (USMC) was killed in Iraq while saving his wounded teammates. Today, Travis' legacy lives on in the words he spoke before leaving for his final deployment, "If Not Me, Then Who..." Guided by this mantra, veterans continue their service, develop strong relationships with their communities, and thrive in their post-military lives. As a result, communities prosper and the character of our nation's heroes live on in the next generation. If you have a chance please check out the website as this organization is doing wonderful things to help our Veterans and their families. We are honored to play a small role in supporting this wonderful organization.
We would like to invite you and your families/friends, to come out and enjoy a wonderful evening of baseball and support a great cause. Tickets are on a first come, first serve basis and seating will be general admission. Tickets can be purchased at
I apologize for the significant amount of information in this message, but there's so much going on at school, and I simply want parents to be informed and involved. I hope that your family has a safe and fun Spring Break whether you're traveling or chilling out at home. Take care.
