About Miss Henschel

I graduated from the University of Dubuque with a bachelors in Elementary Education and a Special Education endorsement. I look forward to helping your child and learning all about them. The students in my classroom will do a lot of figuring out about the world around them through social interaction. This month we will focus on imagination and empathy. The students will understand through character education how to help their friends.

Valentine's Day Party

Sunday, Feb. 14th, 2:30pm

Ms. Henschel's Classroom

Watch out for cupid! Our students will participate in a Valentine's Day Party!

The students will create their cards the day before from paper, colors, and materials. Families that choose to bring in treats must be store bought. The party will last 15-20 minutes. Each student is required to make a valentine for the entire class. (17 kiddos)

Miss Henschel will provide Valentine's Day games, songs, and activities.

100% Jar

Our 3rd Graders have been working diligently to achieve 100%! Our jar of fuzzies has been filled a total of 3 times the month of January. When all students are working 100% I am able to add a few fuzzies into the mason jar. This includes students following directions, walking in the hallway, tracking the teacher, etc,. We will shoot for our goal of filling up the jar 4 times in February! When we fill our jar we have the option of earning a pizza party.
