- Being driven by the fact that every student can succeed, we just have to work together to analyze data and visit classrooms to see what makes them tick or what can better help them learn.
- Digging in to the curriculum and data with teachers. I will roll my sleeves up and do the work to help teachers feel successful when helping students achieve their goals.
Relationship Driven
- Know every student by name, strength and need, as well as personal interests and goals of staff members.
- It's important to me to get to know staff members: their families, their hobbies and take a personal interest in what makes them happy.
- Be present in PLCs and around the building meeting kids and parents so they feel comfortable in the building.
Promise2Purpose Investor
- Sharing a sense of obnoxious optimism on a daily basis is what I am known for around campus.
- Focus on building the capacity of other campus leaders to help reach/achieve our school vision.
- CELEBRATE the success, no matter how big or small, of students and staff on campus to help them know their worth.
Forever Learner
- Past and future conference presenter on high-quality teaching strategies utilizing 21st century technology in the classroom and across the school. I will never ask a teacher to step out of the comfort zone unless I do it with them. By modeling the forever learning life, others will follow!
- Pineapple Chart Implementation in the past to help teachers learn from each other inside of their classrooms. Job embedded PD from the experts on our own campus is a key to success and professional growth.
