FWISD FOOTBALL
Southwest HS
Senior night 2021, was a memorable night for the Southwest Community. The Raiders earned their first win with physical plays by the defense and explosive plays from the offense. As we recognized the Senior Class of 2021, we also shared the experience with The Fort Worth Rams Football Team and Everything Elite Track Club. The Raiders will prepare for district play when they return to the field September 23rd vs Trimble Tech High School. KEEP BUILDING!!!! #S.E.C.
Paschal HS
The Paschal Panthers took on the Irving Tigers last Thursday night at Farrington Field. It was once again the Panther rushing attack that took over the game by rushing for 332 yards. Chris Gee was the workhorse back in this one, as he led the Panthers in rushing 185 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Jacob Garcia scored his first rushing touchdown of the season on a 4-yard carry. Jacob had his best performance of the year as he carried the ball for over 60 yards on the night.
Tommy Bell got the Panther defense off to a hot start when forced a fumble on the first play from scrimmage. That was not the only turnover of the game for Panther D, as Enrique Manzano recovered a fumble late in the third quarter. This led to the Tommy Bell rushing touchdown 6 plays later. The Panther Defense had a goal line stand late in the fourth quarter on the 1-yard line. The charge was led by Kyler Rose, who also led the team in sacks with 4.
Your Panthers are now 2-1 heading into district play. The Panthers will open district against North Crowley this Friday night. Come out and support these young men in all that they do.

South Hills Grad: Johnnie Wilkinson
Went to go see Johnnie Wilkinson run UTA Invitational XC Meet this morning. She will graduate from Tarleton State in December. It is why I do what I do. It is all about who they become in life. I have always said, if I dropped this kid off in China she would make it. She just has a desire to get the job done even if it is in her own way. She is her own person and one of my many kids. Momma is proud of you!
