A Message From your Principals
It's been a wonderful start to the school year at Beaver Acres! We are looking forward to conferences on October 18th and 19th (be sure to sign up for your conference(s) online using this link if you haven't already done so). Conferences are an important way to establish positive two-way communication between home and school, to set goals, and to share information with your child's teacher that will help your student have the best possible year ahead. We also invite you to attend a PTO meeting as another way to be involved. Everyone is welcome! The next meeting is on October 10th.
Lastly, Tuesday, October 3rd is our biggest fundraising event of the year....The BEAVER DASH! Every dollar helps, so even small donations add up fast in a large school like ours. Thank you for all of your support!

International Walk & Bike to School Day
The beginning of the new school year is the perfect time for students and families to start creating healthy, fun and safe habits. Walking and biking is a great way to get to school on time, safely and ready to learn because you’ve had a bit of exercise. With more of us sharing the roads it’s important to know that safety is everyone’s responsibility!
As we travel to and from school:
keep your eyes and ears open,
slow down to 20 MPH or less in school zones and neighborhood streets,
watch for students at all intersections and follow the directions from crossing guards.
Remember we must all look out for each other and work together so everybody gets there safely!
Be sure to mark your calendar for Wednesday October 4, 2017. It’s International Walk+Bike to School Day! Register HERE! Let’s see how many people we can get walking and biking throughout BSD. See the website for more details.

Objetos Perdidos / Encontrados
