Spotlight on Mrs. Scally
I’d like to give a shout out and a million times thank you to Mrs. Scally! Due to her flexibility, understanding, patience, and AWESOMEness, I am able to fulfill everyone’s copy requests in a timely manner. I have learned so many great things from her since day one. Not only is she a fantastic librarian, she is caring and passionate about the students. In the words of Judy Blume: “Librarians save lives by handing the right book at the right time to a kid in need.” Mrs. Scally is a perfect example of that. Students seek her out daily for help and support. Thank you Mrs. Scally for the words of encouragement and guidance and for all you have taught me this year.
Spotlight on Ms. Garcia, Mrs. Parada, Mr. Briones, and Ms. Zapata
I would like to spotlight Ms. Garcia, Ms. Parada, Ms. Zapata, and Mr. Briones for Administrative Assistant Day. They truly help out our Principals as well as teachers, students, and our campus. I appreciate what they do.
Spotlight on Ms. L. Williams
Shout-out to Ms. Latronda Williams, one of our many unsung heroes who zips all over campus putting out all sorts of small fires, always with a sense of humor. She’s the least pretentious person, self-deprecating and real. She brightens up our 7th grade hall, and you can count on her for a good laugh. Thanks for everything, Williams! - Binford
