Weelky Recap

Week 6 has wrapped up very nicely. In class we have conquered many skills. We have been reviewing key details and main ideas in stories, working on telling time to the hour and half hour and also working on place value. It has been fun seeing ah ha moments in our classroom as light bulbs turn on and faces light up! Officer Q came to talk to us about school safety and how she helps protect our school. It was fun to interact with her and learn about her tool belt!

Please continue reading with your child at home for 20 minutes each night. This will help your child tremendously with the skills they are working on at school! Keep your eye out for any important papers or information coming home in Friday Folders. I will be sending information about fall conferences next week, be looking for this coming home in planners or backpacks! If you have any questions please feel free to contact me!

Have a happy weekend,

Mrs. Saewert
