Principal's Message
Dear Ride Families,
I would like to thank all of the parents who have provided snacks for the teachers. A teacher shared with me yesterday that this was hers and other teachers' favorite treat. They are always available in the teacher workroom and restocked as much as possible. Teachers like any kind of snack - healthy snacks, junk snacks, sweet snacks, salty snacks, lol - literally all kinds...
This month's snacks are being provided by 1st grade parents. However, you are welcome to drop off snacks anytime. Sometimes it is the smallest act of kindness or gesture that reenergizes us and releases even more positivity. As well as, doing nice things of others boosts your feelings of satisfaction and well-being. We call that a win-win for everyone!!
Thank you so much for taking care of the teachers at Sally K. Ride so well. We are very grateful to work in such a thoughtful and caring community.
As the temperature drops, you may be looking for your child's coat. We have several coats left at school. The lost coats are kept at the end of each hallway. The 400 Hallway has some of the recess coats as well. Please look at the pictures below to see if you recognize your child's coat.
· As a friendly reminder, please be sure to write names in all items; coats, jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, etc.…
Have a great weekend, Stay safe and warm.
Sincerely,
Megan Burnham
