- Progress Report Grades for the 1st grading period will be posted to Skyward on Thursday, September 3
- Contact your child's teacher(s) if you have questions or concerns about your child's grades.
Q&A for Information as we get ready for In-Person Learning
Please see the Q&A document below for more details.
School will look differently this year, but it is going to be AWESOME!!!
Mask Up, Huskies!
Masks are non-negotiable and MUST be worn by all students!
If your child shows up without a mask, a mask will be given to them; however if this becomes a habit, student code of conduct consequences will be given and parent/guardian will be contacted to bring a mask. Bandanas and masks with valves are NOT allowed!
Students will be given mask breaks throughout the day when appropriate, and allowed to play during PE and Recess without their mask if actively moving.
No Visitors Allowed in the Building
If your child forgets his/her lunch and/or any materials needed for their learning, please follow the following procedures:
- Ring the Bell to speak to someone in the front office
- Let them know you are there to drop off your child's lunch and/or materials needed for learning
- Leave your item(s) on a table in the foyer with your child's name on it. It MUST have your child's name on it. Someone will get it off the table and deliver it to your child.
- Exit the building after that. You will not be allowed to come into the front office and/or give your child their item(s).
*This is different than having an appointment and/or being called to come pick up your child due to illness or other circumstances.
We appreciate your cooperation as we enter into our new normal for in-person learning!
Updated School Supply List
Please make sure your child has a backpack to carry their supplies from class to class (they can carry their binder).
We HIGHLY encourage students to bring the learning device they have been using during remote learning every day (laptop, iPad, Chromebook, etc.). We will continue to use Canvas to submit assignments throughout in-person learning.

Capturing Kids' Hearts
Our focus is all about building relationships and teaching the students about our policies and procedures! Our theme this year is "You Are....Icenhower" with a focus on students feeling comfortable with who they are and how we embrace each other's differences.
This next few weeks, the 5th graders will learn and the 6th graders will get a refresher on all things Capturing Kids' Hearts! Ask them about sharing Good Things, the Time Out and Foul Signals, their Class Launch, What it MeansGive a student 2 "Put Ups" and the 4 Questions!
Students will also be building their Social Contracts for each class and PE/Electives Classes...stay tuned:)!
