Area 31 Newsletter

Thursday 18th of March 2015

Dear Area 31 Entrepreneurs and Friends,

Next week is bursting with activities in Area 31. Startup funding seems to be the topic of the week! Pitch2Peers, on Monday, will help a startup fine tune their pitch and the Venture Lab Pitch Bootcamp, on Tuesday and Wednesday, will focus on getting Venture Lab's teams' pitches showtime-ready. If you're looking for funding, the other two events you shouldn't miss are the talk about EU Funding for startups (€3Bn available) and the one about Essential Legal Aspects for Startups Seeking Funding (ever wondered how to negotiate term sheets?). Finally, we will host Betabeers' developers on Friday.

Also, Startups Made in Spain are doing research on what Spain is like as a startup destination. The findings of their research will form part of the setting up of Google Campus in Madrid in July. You can help them by answering their survey. And don't miss the two new articles on our blog: The Cartoon pitch and Google Startup Launch.
