local winds

local winds are caused by differences in tempurture. local winds are basicly winds nearby your area. an example of a local winds are the land and sea breezes.

global winds

global winds are named after then directions witch they blow, for example: westerlies blow west. some types of global winds are: polar easterlies, westerlies, and trade winds.

land and sea breezes

a land breeze is when the air over the land rise and the cooler air over the sea replaces the air that was once over the land. sea breezes happen when the air over the sea rises and the air over the land replaces the air that was once over the sea. they both bring cool and warm air to the sea and to the land.
