-Partners In Reading (PIR): Chester the Cheetah is still missing! Don't forget to send in your weekly reading slips and watch for clues about Chester's whereabouts.

-Celebrate Our Girls Dance will be held on Friday, Feb. 26th. If you are interested in helping please contact

-Cheetah Project: Interested in sharing a hobby with a small group of students? Willing to volunteer to teach an already planned lesson? We are in need of parent volunteers to help with our March after school Cheetah Project programs. Contact for more info.

-Save the Date and more details about our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament coming soon. We hope to see you on Oct. 1, 2016!

-Yearbook Committee needs your help taking and submitting pictures of events. Please submit pictures to Yearbooks are on sale now! ***All 5th graders receive a yearbook so there is no need to send an order form in for your 5th grader.


It's TOPS time!! Dorothy Nolan's Variety Show will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 at 7 PM. Please complete the TOPS permission slip and volunteer form and return it to the main office by Friday, January 29th. Due to the popularity of TOPS, there is a limited number of applications that can be accepted. It will be based on the first accurately completed forms and music. Ryan Wersten MIOP Foundation Bowling

Come join the Ryan Wersten MIOP Foundation to raise support and awareness for Malignant Infantile Osteopetrosis on Sunday January 31st from 12-2 at Saratoga Strike Zone!

$20 will get you 2 games, shoes, pizza, soda, and a bumper car ride. You can pay at the door!

SNACPack Food Drive

The SNACPack program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children on weekends, when other resources are not available. The program provides backpacks filled with food that is child-friendly, shelf-stable, and easily-consumed. Bags are packed each week by volunteers and discreetly distributed to participating children every Friday afternoon.

The SNACPack program will be collecting goods at Dorothy Nolan. They are looking for 4 items which include:

  • Protein Bars
  • Mac & Cheese, Water Only type (Ex. Easy Mac, Velveeta)
  • 100% Juice Boxes
  • Pasta (any type)

Donations can be dropped off in the front lobby. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

SUNY Adirondack Winter Enrichment

Who can participate? Grade 4-6

When? Monday, February 15th through Thursday, February 18th.

What courses will be offered? "Ask the Expert: Marine Biologist", "Forensics: The Big Four", "Science Web Quest", "DIY Design", "Coding for Kids", "Games for the Body and Mind"
