Muscle Shoals High School students Jaylee Beth Smith, interested in nursing; Connor Reed, interested in computers; and Riley Kimbrell, who wants to a be a welder, are hearing impaired. Sophomore Andrew Hendrix, not pictured, is also hearing impaired. [MATT MCKEAN/TIMESDAILY] All four students were recently featured in a TimesDaily article (link below) detailing their outstanding achievement at the high school level. We are so proud of Jaylee Beth, Connor, Riley, and Andrew!

"I could lose what little hearing I have, but there's technology available to help me then, too, so I don't just sit around and worry about it," Andrew Hendrix said.

Homecoming Parade Information

The link to the form required for participation in the 2019 MSHS Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 6, 2019 is given below. Also attached below are the 2019 Parade Guidelines and the Parade route

Please be certain that this form is completed if your group or organization intends to participate in the parade this year by Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Please do not assume if you have participated in the past that your group is automatically included. The shortened homecoming week will make accommodation of late entries difficult. If your child participates in an organization primarily centered on MSCS students, please forward this email to them.

Please note, if your child is a member of a team sponsored through the Muscle Shoals Park and Recreation Department, there will be one bulk entry for those teams. Organization of all loading of floats will be at the MSCS Rec department and those entries will be led to the parade lineup by police escort.

Thank you for your help.
