Seniors at Risk Form:
Biggest Loser Contest
Beginning this Friday we will begin our 4th installment of the Biggest Loser Competition to which Conrad Buck won last year with a remarkable 30 lbs lost. So if you are interested please let me or Nancy know. For those of you who are motivated by money there is a $10 buy-in, or if you just want to participate for the fun of it you are more than welcome. Here are the ground rules:
-Winner will take all
-Weigh-ins will occur every Friday after school from 2:45-3:30 PM for eight weeks. We will have our first weigh-in this Friday, April 5th, and this will be your baseline. Nancy will be the unbiased recorder every week. The competition will officially end on Friday, May 31st (8 weeks).
-Weigh-ins will occur in Nancy's office.
-Winner will be determined by the percentage of your total weight lost not the number of pounds that you lose.
-For those of you who are motivated by money, every Friday you weigh-in, if you are over, you are to contribute one dollar to the pot : )
-Nancy will send out weekly updates to the participating group weekly so you will know where you stand.
Let Nancy know if you are interested. Should be fun!
BTW - Conrad and Tina Garcia will not join the competition this year.
Memorial Service for Riley Salisbury
Riley’s family is holding a memorial service for him on March 23. He graduated from Westview last year and his younger brother still attends WHS. Riley was lost during a hunting trip in January and was never found. This very sad news impacts many in our Westview family. Our thoughts are with with the Salisbury family.
