Welcome our new Assistant Principal, Ms. McKinnon

This is Jennifer McKinnon’s 12th year as an educator. She graduated with an Elementary Education degree 2007 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow. She also has a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from North Carolina Central University. Jennifer McKinnon has taught for 9 years in the classroom. During this time, she went on to pursue a 2nd Master's degree in School Administration, and for 3 years she was an Assistant Principal at Holly Grove ES. During that time, she established a great rapport with staff, students, parents, and the Holly Springs community. As a military spouse, she moved to Japan three years ago. During that time she worked for the Department of Defense Education Activity as a 2nd grade teacher on Camp Zama’s Army Military Base. She has recently relocated back to North Carolina, and started the school year as a 3rd grade teacher here in WCPSS. She is extremely excited to transition back into administration, and looks forward to being a Holly Springs Elementary School Cheetah on Monday, December 17th. She loves spending time with her husband Albert, who has served in the Army for 17 years, and her 4 year old son Brayden! Please help welcome Ms. McKinnon to our Cheetah Family!
