Cunningham Messenger

All the News from the Coolest Little School in South Austin!
Last week of January!
Dear Cunningham Families,
It's been a very busy and hectic few weeks up here at Cunningham. Our students and teachers have been working so hard over the last few weeks and I am amazed by the growth we are seeing during these crazy times. To think that it was almost a year ago that we did the biggest pivot educators have ever done - and to see where we are now - is astounding. I feel quite proud of our staff and students and the endless work they've all done to learn and grow.
Yesterday, Dr. Elizalde sent an email out sharing that the city is seeing improvements in the numbers of positive cases in our city. Due to these improvements, any family that requested on-campus learning will be invited to return to campus once again.
So that Cunningham can best prepare to receive students, we kindly ask you to let us know here. If this is your first time returning to campus since we opened in September, please let us know that in the notes section.
Please remember that Friday, January 29th is a district-wide asynchronous day. Teachers will be available in the morning to check in with students, provide small group intervention, and support your learner. Asynchronous learning experiences will also be posted on Blend and Seesaw. Attendance will be taken based on participation and completion of tasks.
Cobra Strong,
Heather Petruzzini
Principal

Cobra fuerte,
Heather Petruzzini
