Spradley Elementary Weekly Update

Date: November 7, 2021

Administrative Update

Spradley Families,

Before I start the week, I want to personally say thank you Spradley families. I received so many calls and emails during my absence containing words of encouragement. I am grateful to each of you for every kind word, thought, and prayer for my speedy recovery. I am doing well and will return to work tomorrow.

There are many activities taking place this week. Grandparents and Special Friends Day lunch will occur Thursday and Friday. I encourage you to RSVP and get the Fast Pass to expedite your entry to the campus. Additionally, the Book Fair has started and we know your student is ready to purchase good books! You can shop in person or virtually. More information regarding these events and many more are listed below.

I would like to congratulate all of Turkey Trot winners and classroom Spelling Bee winners. Spelling Bee winners will receive additional information regarding the next phase of this contest. Our Spradely scholars are ready to compete and bring home the championship. Thank you parents for your dedication to academic excellence. Your hard work is paying off and is being demonstrated daily through the immaculate efforts of our students.

Finally, we are nearing our Thanksgiving break. Mark your calendars for the school closure, 11/22-11/26 and starting Monday, November 29, 2021, WE ARE OPEN! Please feel free to eat on campus, in the cafeteria, with your child(ren). We are slowly returning to "normal" and we are excited. Continue to monitor the newsletter for updates and important information.

Have a blessed week and know that your child(ren) make our days brighter because they are here with us daily. We are honored to serve and partner with you.

Yours in Partnership,

Dr. Hodge
