Spring 2020
AP Human Geography to be Offered at WHS Fall 2020
Students in this course will explore how humans have understood, used, and changed the surface of Earth. They’ll use the tools and thinking processes of geographers to examine patterns of human population, migration, and land use.
Students who successfully complete the course and earn a qualifying score on the corresponding AP exams will earn college credit.
Dual Credit Psychology to be Offered at WHS Fall 2020
Students in this course will survey the essential subject areas, major theories, and approaches to the scientific study of behavior and mental processes.
Students who successfully complete the course and subsequent exams will earn college credit through Lonestar College.
IS YOUR CHILD A GT IDENTIFIED STUDENT THAT IS NEW TO WILLIS ISD?
If in your former school district your child was previously assessed, identified as a Gifted & Talented learner, and received services to meet his or her needs, please make sure to notify both the registrar and counselor upon registration.
Additionally, if you happen to have documentation regarding Gifted & Talented assessment and/or services from your previous district, please share that with your campus at registration.
Multi-District GT Cooperative
The coop is a group of educators and parents representing, learning and advocating for gifted and talented students in Conroe ISD, Magnolia ISD, Montgomery ISD, Tomball ISD, and Willis ISD.
