May 25, 2022
Dear HSAG Family,
At Harmony Public Schools, the safety of our students is our utmost priority. Accordingly, we would like to provide you with some information regarding enhanced safety measures beginning at our campus for the remainder of the week.
Beginning today, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, parents and caregivers will see additional security guards on campus as an added precautionary measure for our campus community.
Security will patrol the school grounds for the remainder of the school year to ensure our campus remains a safe place for our staff, students and families.
Our campus will be closed to visitors for the remainder of the week.
- We will be live streaming our awards ceremonies.
- 6th Grade Promotion Ceremony is postponed -- Our 6th grade teachers will be sending out additional details later today.
We appreciate your cooperation as we implement these additional safety measures.
As always, if you have any questions, please contact us.

Substitutes Still Needed!
Would you like to earn money while your students are in school? Would you like a flexible schedule that works around your availability? Consider becoming a Harmony Substitute! We offer competitive pay ranging from $70.00-$120.00 per day depending on your education and the position covered. Please visit www.harmonytx.org/careers to apply.
We wanted to remind everyone that the school dress code does not include hoodies (zip up or pull over). We are starting to see more and more students wearing these; this is something that we are going to start enforcing. As the weather begins to change, please order a school cardigan ($15) or a fleece jacket ($18). Long sleeve uniform shirts ($17) are also availalbe in limited sizes. Students may also wear long sleeve undershirts in navy, red, or white.

Free Meals Available for 2021-2022 School Year
Don't forget: Harmony is offering free meals to all students for the 2021-22 school year. Typically, a student’s household must meet income eligibility requirements to qualify for free or reduced-price meals. However, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) issued guidance that allows schools to offer meals to all students at no cost for the 2021-2022 school year.
- WHO IS ELIGIBLE: All students, regardless of income or prior participation in the Free & Reduced Meal program.
- WHAT’S INCLUDED: Full meal (breakfast and lunch) plus one milk. If a student wishes to purchase milk only (ex. brought lunch from home but needs a drink), they may do so for $0.50. Students without funds on their meal account will be allowed one charge, then may not purchase additional milks until their meal account has a positive fund balance.
- HOUSEHOLD INCOME VERIFICATION: Because meal eligibility applications will not be collected this year, parents/guardians are asked to log in to their Skyward account and complete the Household Income Information Form. This information is used by the Texas Education Agency and other entities to determine the level of funding that will be made available at each school to support your child’s learning needs. (Note: The specific details of your family’s income levels will NOT be shared with the TEA.)
If you have any questions, please contact the Child Nutrition Assistant email@example.com.
