September Newsletter
September, 2022
Panther Family,
We have successfully completed our first month of school and are fully engaged with our instruction to ensure all our Park Street Panthers Learn, Grow, and Thrive!
I hope you find this newsletter and our updated Park Street website helpful and informative. We've made subtle changes to our website that we hope you find valuable and engaging. Starting this month and moving forward, all grade-level newsletters are posted on the school website. You will also find hyperlinks to my previous monthly parent newsletters.
Below you will find reminders about our Uniform Policy. Park Street has been and continues to be a uniform school. If you have questions about our uniform policy or require assistance with acquiring uniforms, do not hesitate to contact me. We will support you and your family as much as we can. We do so respectfully and discreetly!
In the next section of this newsletter, you will see our attendance numbers for August. I will be honest. We can do better. Research shows that attendance is an essential factor in student achievement. Students who attend school regularly achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. Please, never hesitate to call or email our guidance counselor or me if you have any concerns about attendance. Or how we may support you to ensure your child comes to school every day on time.
Lastly, as you look through our calendar and upcoming events, remember that we have Fall Break the last week of the month. There will be no school from Monday, September 26th, through Friday, September 30th. School resumes Monday, October 3rd.
In closing, if I forget anything or if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please reach out. I am here to support you and all our Panther community!
In service,
Your Proud Panther Principal,
Alex Soto
