Safety for School-Age Children

By: Kennedy and Becca

Adequate Supervision

Watch over the children while in your care. School-Aged children are old enough to not be hovered over all the time but still need supervision.

Electrical Plug Covers

Put electrical plug covers over electrical outlets so the children won't get shocked.

Wearing Helmets

Your children should wear a helmet when riding a bike, scooter, etc. to protect from injuries.

Cover Sharp Corners

If you cover sharp corners in your house, classroom, etc. then that will protect the child from serious injuries.

Know Your Phone Number, Address, etc.

Teach your kids these things to make sure wherever they are they know how to get home or get in touch with you.

Seat Belts

Make your child wear a seat belt at all times during the car ride in case of an accident.
