Dear West TV families,
With Spring break coming, I'm sending out this newsletter a little early.
Just a reminder that Wednesday, March 17th is the final day of the Library Book bus. Families will still be able to check-out and drop-off library books every Monday and Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm. We will continue to have Library Book Drop-Off and Pick Up at the gym through the remainder of the school year. *Please remember to always wear a mask if you come to drop off or check out books.
Starting the week of April 5th, free meals will be provided for every student at West TV - both CDL students and Hybrid students. Families in CDL need to request the meals. Families in Hybrid will get meals automatically - but families can opt out at any time. Allergies, meal modifications with medical documentation and vegetarian requests will be accommodated and separate meal bags marked with the student name will be prepared as needed. More information is below.
When Hybrid begins the playground, field and walking path is closed to the public on school days from 7:30-3:30pm. There will be new signs posted soon.
Our Transportation Department will be notifying families about bus routes for Hybrid instruction. Families can learn more on the BSD transportation webpage.
The BSD Marathon Kids Spring Run 2021 is coming...March 19-28! More information is below - including maps and how to log your miles.

Student Survey for 4th and 5th graders only
The survey window is March 30-June 4.
Each year the District surveys students, staff, and parents to gather information for planning, program evaluation, and assessment of progress on the District's Strategic Plan.
The student survey takes about 20 minutes during the regular school day. The data gathered from the survey are anonymous; your child will not put his/her name or other identifying information on the survey. Like other surveys, results will be presented only about groups. No individual data will be reported.
Your child may skip questions or stop filling out the survey at any time. Refusing to participate or withdrawing from the survey does not affect your child's grades or class standing in any way. If you or your child does not want to participate, your child can read or do some other activity while his or her classmates complete the survey.
