Sailed up the St. Lawrence River and founded Quebec which was known as New France.

New France today is Canada.

Jamestown

Jamestown was settled by settlers sent by King James to go to America to start a colony.

Jamestown was settled on the coast of Virginia in 1607 the colony ultimately failed because the marsh lands were bad land to farm on.

Pilgrims

they were a group of religious colonist who left England in pursuit of religious freedom they settled in Plymouth

Puritans

The Puritans were another group of people who wanted religious freedom from the Anglican Church of England. They settled in the Netherlands.
