Setting boundaries around screen time
Many adults struggle to set & maintain healthy boundaries around screen time & technology. Setting & maintaining healthy boundaries around technology & screen time simply isn't something we can expect kids to be able to do on their own. 'Believe Kids' Klatt Fundraiser HAS BEGUN
We already have some amazing sellers:
A huge shout out needs to go out to Leonardo Tondra, has already sold $203 dollars in merchandise. Outstanding!! We are just so impressed by you. Another shout out must go out to, Francisco Cabrera who had the most social media shares with friends and family. Something Fishy is Going On
Klatt Salmon Tank
We are setting up the salmon tank in the hallway, this week!!! yaaaaaaa
Soon, dozens of eggs will be nesting between the rocks and pebbles of the tank. Children will have the opportunity to watch the stages of development unfold. By the end of the year we hope to have a run of healthy salmon, ready for release. Be sure to ask your little ones, what changes they see?

Photoscreening
Lions Club is coming to Klatt on Oct. 5th (also school picture day) to perform Photoscreening. Photoscreening is a vision screening meant to identify children with possible visual defects that may place children at risk for developing amblyopia, also know as Lazy Eye. This is a very quick screening using an optical image in which the student sits in a chair and is asked to look into a camera that measures the eyes ability to focus.
**It is very important the child wears his glasses if they have already been prescribed**
