A Year To Remember

What an exciting and eventful school year we have had! Together, we have navigated the ebb and flow of elementary school. Together, we have shared challenges and struggles. Together, we have overcome obstacles and barriers. Together, we have celebrated successes and triumphs. There isn't much that we can't do at East Elementary, especially when we are together.

As we begin the process of ending our school year, teachers will be sharing information regarding end-of-year activities. We are definitely going to celebrate our students; and, we are going to have some fun along the way.

Planning Ahead

In planning for the 2023-2024 school year, there is a set of criteria taken into account to ensure that each class is equal in student distribution. While we make every effort to place your child in an environment that will be optimal for success, we understand that each child is unique. As each teacher is a professional educator that meets the requirements to fulfill the mission at East Elementary School, we will not honor teacher requests nor denials; however, if there is information that will be beneficial regarding your child’s placement (learning style, personality, friendships, history with teacher, etc.) please share that with Principal Wiggins in writing, via letter or e-mail, by 3:00 p.m. on May 25. We will take any information you provide in consideration of placement. Class assignments, when mailed, are final; and, no changes will be allowed.
