The East Side
A Year To Remember
What a weird and wild school year we have had! Together, we have navigated these unique times. Together, we have shared frustrations and struggles. Together, we have overcome obstacles and barriers. Together, we have celebrated successes and cheered for one another. This hasn't been easy on any of us, but we did it together.
As we begin the process of ending our school year, grade-level teachers will be sharing information regarding end-of-year activities. We are definitely going to celebrate our students; and, we are going to have some fun along the way.
Show Some Love
This is a special week for our teachers. Let's show our love and appreciation.

Skip the store by purchasing your school supplies through the EES PTO.
Don't Stop Now
With only a few weeks of school left in the year, let's stay on track to finish together.
In planning for the 2021-2022 school year, there is a set of criteria taken into account to ensure that each class is equal in student distribution. While we make every effort to place your child in an environment that will be optimal for success, we understand that each child is unique. As each teacher is a professional educator that meets the requirements to fulfill the mission at East Elementary School, we will not honor teacher requests nor denials; however, if there is information that will be beneficial regarding your child’s placement (learning style, personality, friendships, history with teacher, etc.) please share that with Principal Wiggins in writing, via letter or e-mail, by 3:00 p.m. on May 27. We will take any information you provide in consideration of placement. Class assignments, when mailed, are final; and, no changes will be allowed.
BE EXCELLENT, EVERY DAY IN EVERY WAY!
YOU ARE IN BEAST MODE! We are all so proud of our students! They are showing their excellence through class participation, character, and school spirit. Through your efforts as parents, grandparents, and guardians, you are teaching life lessons far beyond academia. You deserve a pat on the back and a high-five, too.
Student medications can be collected from Nurse Baker between 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on May 27 and May 28.
