Parent Teacher Conferences 10/24 & 10/26
Windsor Middle School will be hosting our first semester parent/teacher conferences on October 24, 2022 & October 26, 2022 from 4:15 – 8:00 PM. Drop in, in person conferences are back. It is strongly recommended that you bring your student with you, as they will provide some insights on how classes are going for them.
In preparation for conferences, we encourage you to check on your student’s grades and attendance using our district’s Infinite Campus Parent Portal. If you are not familiar with Infinite Campus, you can find more information here: https://weldre4.org/en-US/parent-applications-dashboard-079e8097
If your student is currently thriving here at WMS please consider connecting with their teacher(s) via email rather than an in-person conference. Also, please understand that conferences are 5-10 minutes each and will likely occur back-to-back. Your student’s teacher will need to begin and end the conference on time to maintain a schedule throughout the evening. If you anticipate needing longer than 5-10 minutes, please email your student’s teacher directly to set up an appointment.
As conferences are intended to be short meetings with your child’s teacher(s) it may be difficult to see all of their teachers in one evening. Please prioritize the teachers you wish to speak with most.
Thank you for you continued support and partnership in providing your child with the best educational opportunities possible!

October Optimist Student of the Month: Cooper
We have the honor and privilege to work with Windsor Optimist Club on a regular basis. Each month a Windsor Middle School student is selected as an "Optimist Student of the Month." These students are recognized for exhibiting optimism and being a role model for others! Our Optimist Student of the month for October is Cooper.
One of his nominations read: "Cooper is naturally curious and inquisitive, and he never fails to think through concepts and ideas thoroughly. He cares about doing well, and he also cares about others. His positive energy and character adds to our class, and he takes on risks and challenges like a champion!" We are grateful to have Cooper at WMS!

Wrestling Workouts
Parents and students at WMS,
We are pleased to once again be able to offer our pre-season wrestling Strength and Conditioning Camp to any WMS student who would like to participate. Camp starts Monday, October 17th, and will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:05-5:45pm. We will be adding Fridays to the workout schedule starting on November 1.
Students will meet in the WMS Weight room after school, and be split up into their workout groups for the day. All wrestlers are encouraged to sign up, but any student who wants to get faster, quicker, and stronger, while getting in tip-top shape, is welcome to join us.
If your child would like to join our workouts, please fill out THIS FORM, and have your child return it to Coach Gary Mauch. They do not have to start immediately, however, if a student wants the best development, they need to participate as much as possible.
Thank you, and we look forward to seeing your kid at the workouts.
Go Wizards!
