What's Happening in 4th Grade!
January 14, 2014
Math
Students are expanding their geometry vocabulary! We learned that equilateral triangles have three equal sides, isosceles triangles have two equal sides, and scalene triangles have no equal sides. We have also been learning about symmetry and measuring area of shapes this week. Students are creating their own symmetrical designs and using pattern blocks to find the area. Keep your eyes open for shapes and symmetry in your environment!
