Information from Special Area Teachers!
Collaboratory: In Collaboratory we will be using a robot and drive it through a maze.
Music: Music clapped along with the jazz classic "Canal Street Symphony" and then did some yellow-belt testing. Working hard for good tone and legato technique! We listened to two versions of "Birdland", a song written in tribute to both a famous NYC jazz club and Charlie "Yardbird" Parker, the jazz saxophone legend. Choir got to learn the chorus of the song they brainstormed lyrics for last week, and are so excited that they are helping to write a brand-new song!
PE: All PE classes will continue Badminton this week.
Spanish: We have been reviewing language learned so far in our video stories, including telling the date of special occasions like our birthdays, family member vocabulary, and introducing someone by telling their name. This week students were divided into groups of 4 and started practicing the dialogue from our video story. They will perform with their group starting next week!
